From 2004–2006, the IR-4 minor used ornamental program-sponsored research to expand the labels of three preemergent herbicides used to manage weeds in and around nursery crops. More than 70 ornamental species were shown to be tolerant to applications of Pendulum® 2G herbicide when applied over the top of established plants used in nursery production and in landscapes.
In over two years of evaluations with 16 USDA and university researchers from across the country, Pendulum 2G was evaluated at 1x, 2x and 4x the label rate for plant safety.

Where To Use Pendulum 2G
Pendulum 2G is labeled for use in:
Ornamentals: Field and container nurseries, Christmas tree and other forest tree nurseries, landscape or grounds maintenance and non-bearing fruit, nuts and vines
Turf: Golf courses, residential and commercial lawns, sod farms and athletic fields
Noncropland Areas: Noncropland areas

Keys To Success
Uniform application of Pendulum 2G over the treated area is essential for effective control. The herbicide must be applied prior to weed germination. Efficacy will be improved if application is followed by one-half inch of rainfall or its equivalent in sprinkler irrigation. Refer to product label for additional information.
